Ben Hogan once said he hits one or maybe two good shots a round. I understand that. Of course, I am no Ben Hogan. I am however an avid golfer and today I experienced a shot. I mentioned to my playing partner it was the best shot I hit this season. In reflection, it as probably the best shot I have ever hit.

It was unexpected. Short Par 4 10th on my course. Three wood off the tee to 145 yards, pin tucked behind a bunker.

I hit a seven iron, perfect flight, slight draw to about a foot. Rolled in the birdie.

You repeat the same set up the same pre-shot routine and swing the club thousands of times. This one was perfect. Well almost perfect - it could have gone in!
